The ClearEvent Badge Maker is free to use. To keep it free, badges include a Badges by ClearEvent watermark until you join the ClearEvent mailing list. Joining the list removes the watermark so you can design, download, and print badges without it.
When To Use This
Use this when you are ready to download or print badges and want them without the watermark. You only need to join the mailing list once in this browser. After that, you can show or hide the watermark on any badge.
Steps
Open your badge in the Badge Designer.
Click the watermark on the badge, or open the properties panel and click Join mailing list to remove under Watermark.
In the Remove watermark dialog, enter your First name, Last name, and Email.
Optionally enter your Event name and Organization.
Select Email updates to agree to occasional product updates and tips from ClearEvent. You can unsubscribe anytime.
Click Join & Remove Watermark.
After you see You're unlocked!, the watermark is removed from the current badge. In the properties panel, Watermark removal unlocked appears, and you can use the Watermark toggle to show or hide the watermark on other badges.

Watermark removal is saved in this browser. If you use another browser or device, join the mailing list again on that device.
You can turn the watermark back on at any time with the Watermark toggle in the properties panel.
