This article will guide you through deleting a registration form as well as point out some things to consider beforehand.
Why delete a registration form?
Removing a registration form can be useful when:
You wish to delete all registrants linked to the form.
The form is no longer needed (test forms or unused forms).
You want to clean up forms from a past event.
Considerations before deleting a registration form
Deleting a form that has been used to accept registrations will also delete all of your registrants linked to that form. This action will prevent you from:
Accessing registration details for any registrants associated with the deleted form.
Issuing refunds (through ClearEvent) for any registrants associated with the deleted form.
You should consider exporting a list of registrants before deleting the registration form so that you have a backup. After the form is deleted, you will not be able to export the deleted registrants.
How to delete a registration form
To delete a registration form, follow these steps:
Go to the Event Manager App > Registration section > Forms tab.
Select the Form you wish to delete.
Click the Delete button from the top toolbar.
If the form has a Custom Start Date and End Date or the Event Close Date is in the past, you'll receive a deletion prompt and can remove the form along with any associated registrants. Otherwise, you will only be able to delete an active form if all related registrations have been either declined or canceled.
