When organizing an event, there may be instances where an attendee needs to register additional participants after completing their own registration. This could be useful for adding family members, team members, or for group registrations. ClearEvent offers features to simplify this workflow.
How to direct a registrant to register another attendee:
Copy the registration form's Share Link:
Go to the Event Manager App > Registration section > Forms tab.
Select and edit the registration form.
Under the Publish tab, copy the form's Share Link to your clipboard. This will be needed later.
Configure the forms Submit Action:
In the Form Editor > Settings tab, set the Submit Action settings of the form to choose 'Redirect to a website'.
Paste the copied Share Link from your clipboard into the Redirect Link field.
Set the Redirect Link Button Text to something like "Register another attendee". A "Register another attendee" button will then be displayed on the registration final confirmation step of the checkout workflow. Clicking this button (see below) will direct registrants to a new (blank) registration form where they can add another attendee.
A separate registration will be created in ClearEvent for each additional attendee that is added.
TIP: In cases where the primary registrant is a parent (e.g. a parent is tasked with registering their child), you may wish to add additional fields to your registration form (using the Fields tab) to collect the child's name and any other relevant registration details needed from the child.
