The ClearEvent platform makes communicating with attendees easy by allowing event organizers to send invitations, or messages via email.
As a provider of promotional email tools, ClearEvent takes the enforcement of anti-spam laws very seriously. Using ClearEvent's communication tools to send spam can have negative consequences for all your events and attendees. For this reason, it’s important that all event communications sent via email comply with all applicable email and spam laws.
By using ClearEvent's communication features to send emails, you agree that you will comply with ClearEvent's anti-spam requirements and any other local laws that may apply to sending emails. Events deemed to be abusing ClearEvent's communication tools to send spam emails will be immediately suspended.
What are Event Organizers responsible for?
All Event Organizers must abide by ClearEvent's anti-spam requirements and any other local laws. Here’s an overview of what you’re responsible for:

ClearEvent Anti-Spam Requirements
ClearEvent has put additional requirements in place to help protect our service, our events, and their attendees. Here’s an overview of our anti-spam requirements for email:
You must agree to our Terms of Service.
Contact information must be included in every invite or message email that is sent, including a physical event mailing address or P.O. Box where mail can be received.
The event contact information, event location, or subject line may not be falsified or misleading.
Emails sent through ClearEvent must comply with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act (events in the U.S.), and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation CASL (events in Canada). For events outside of the U.S. and Canada, you must still comply with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act.
International Requirements
Email regulations vary by country, so your event may also be subject to additional regulations depending on the location of both your event and your attendees.
It’s your responsibility to determine whether any additional laws or regulations, including international laws, apply to you or the emails that you send through ClearEvent. Please note that, in addition to email spam laws, some countries may have additional data protection or security laws that could impact your email marketing. If your business is based outside the United States, or you have an international contact base, you’ll need to determine what additional laws you’re subject to before sending through ClearEvent.
