Your Event Portal > Home page can be customized to tailor your attendee experience for your event. Your Home page will often serve as the information hub. This help article will explain your customization options for the Event Portal > Home page.
Customizing your Home page can be helpful when you are not using all of the features and do not wish for certain Event Portal pages to be visible.
Your home page can be customized in a number of ways:
Turn on/off built-in features that your event may not be using (e.g., tickets, registration, schedules, sponsors, jobs, etc.)
Show or hide built-in page buttons
Rename page button labels
Change page button icons
Reorder page buttons
Add, edit, or delete custom content pages (e.g. a Travel Info page, a FAQ page, etc.)
Add, edit, or delete registrant lists
Add, edit, or delete links to external websites and resources
Example home page:
Type of Pages
Page Type | Description |
Built-In Page | These built-in pages display information maintained in the ClearEvent platform like basic event details, tickets, registration forms, schedules, messages, sponsors, contact info, locations, etc. from the ClearEvent platform. You cannot delete a built-in page, but you can hide it if that feature is not in use |
Content | Content pages allow you to enter custom formatted content that will be displayed on the Event Portal. For example, travel info, FAQs, parking details, etc. |
Redirect Link | Redirect link pages allow you to share links to important websites or resources. These links can be internal (e.g., a link to a registration form you create) or external (e.g. a link to an external website) |
Pinned Registration Form | A Pinned Registration Form page allows you to add a shortcut to any of your existing registration forms directly to your Home page. Any registration form can be pinned to the Home page |
Registrant List | A Registrant List page allows you to share a list of approved registrants. You can customize which of the collected fields are visible, and which (if any) registrant type is allowed to view the Registrant List. Lastly, filters can be applied to the registrant details to further restrict what registrant data is shared publicly or with another Registrant Type. |
How to customize the Event Portal > Home page
Edit a Page
Open the Event Manager App > Event Setup section > Pages tab.
Select the Event Page from the list of pages and click the Edit button.
In the Edit page popup window, make your changes.
Click OK to dismiss the popup.
Click Save.
Reorder a Page
Open the Event Manager App > Event Setup section > Pages tab.
Select the Event Page from the list of pages and click the Move Up / Move Down buttons.

Share a Page with a specific Registrant Type
By default, Pages are visible to everyone (ticket buyers and all registrants). It is possible to restrict access and share a Page privately with a single Registrant Type. A Page can currently only be shared with a single Registrant Type.
To share a Page:
Open the Event Manager App > Event Setup section > Pages tab.
Select the Event Page from the list of pages and click the Edit button.
In the Edit page popup window, scroll down until you see the Share with dropdown. Expand the dropdown to see a list of possible Registrant Types you can share the Page with. If there are no registration forms set up, this list will be empty.
Choose a Registrant Type to share this Page privately.
Click OK to dismiss the popup.
Click Save.
When a Registrant Type is set for the Share with setting, the Page button will only be visible on the Event Portal > Home page when a signed-in attendee has registered for your event using the registration form associated with the selected Registrant Type.
Reorder a Page
Open the Event Manager App > Event Setup section > Pages tab.
Select the Event Page from the list of pages and click the Move Up / Move Down buttons.
Click Save.
Show or Hide a Built-In Page
Open the Event Manager App > Event Setup section > Pages tab.
Select the Event Page from the list of pages and click the Edit button.
In the Edit page popup window, scroll down until you see the Visible checkbox. Unchecking the checkbox will hide the page and checking it will display the page on your Event Portal > Home page with the selected Registrant Type set in the Share with field.
Click OK to dismiss the popup.
Click Save.
Delete a Page
Note: Built-In pages cannot be deleted. Instead, edit the page and uncheck the Visible checkbox to hide the page.
