Your Event Portal > Home page can be customized to tailor your attendee experience for your event. Your Home page will often serve as the information hub. This help article will explain your customization options for the Event Portal > Home page.
Customizing your Home page can be helpful when you are not using all of the features and do not wish for certain Event Portal pages to be visible.
Your home page can be customized in a number of ways:
Turn on/off built-in features that your event may not be using (e.g., tickets, registration, schedules, sponsors, jobs, etc.)
Show or hide built-in page buttons
Rename page button labels
Change page button icons
Reorder page buttons
Add, edit, or delete custom content pages (e.g. a Travel Info page, a FAQ page, etc.)
Add, edit, or delete registrant lists
Add, edit, or delete links to external websites and resources
Example home page:
Types of Event Pages
Page Type | Description |
Built-In Page | These built-in pages display information maintained in the ClearEvent platform like basic event details, tickets, registration forms, schedules, messages, sponsors, contact info, locations, etc. from the ClearEvent platform. You cannot delete a built-in page, but you can hide it if that feature is not in use |
Content | Content pages allow you to enter custom formatted content that will be displayed on the Event Portal. For example, travel info, FAQs, parking details, etc. |
Redirect Link | Redirect link pages allow you to share links to important websites or resources. These links can be internal (e.g., a link to a registration form you create) or external (e.g. a link to an external website) |
Pinned Registration Form | A Pinned Registration Form page allows you to add a shortcut to any of your existing registration forms directly to your Home page. Any registration form can be pinned to the Home page |
Registrant List | A Registrant List page allows you to share a list of approved registrants. You can customize which of the collected fields are visible, and which (if any) registrant type is allowed to view the Registrant List. Lastly, filters can be applied to the registrant details to further restrict what registrant data is shared publicly or with another Registrant Type. |
