Learn how to pin registration forms to your Event Portal > Home page to create shortcuts to popular forms.

Updated over a week ago

Registration forms can be "pinned" to your Event Portal > Home page to create shortcuts for popular forms. Pinning can make it easier for attendees to register for your events using fewer clicks.

Normally, registration forms that you publish publicly are only found in the Event Portal > Register page. Attendees visiting your Event Portal normally must first click the "Register" button to see a list of available public registration forms.

Pinning can be used to add shortcuts to your Event Portal > Home page.

Pinning a Registration Form to the Event Portal > Home page

To pin popular registration forms to your Event Portal > Home page, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Event Manager App > Registrations section > Forms tab

  2. Edit an existing form or create a new form.

  3. In the Form Designer, select the Publish tab.

  4. Click the Pin To Event Portal button to enable pinning.

  5. Fill in the required Event Portal Button Label setting. This is the label given to the pinned button on your Event Portal > Home page. To avoid confusion, ensure the label value you enter is unique across all registration forms.

  6. Choose the Event Portal Button Icon to customize the button icon displayed.

  7. Click Add Pinned Form.

The pinned form will now be available on the Event Portal > Home page:

Hiding a Pinned Registration Form from the Event Portal > Register page

If a form has been pinned to the Event Portal > Home page, you may wish to also hide it from the Event Portal > Register page. By default, all public registration forms are displayed in the Event Portal > Register page.

To hide a registration form from the Event Portal > Register page, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Event Manager App > Registrations section > Forms tab

  2. Edit an existing form that has been pinned (see above).

  3. In the Form Designer, select the Publish tab.

  4. Uncheck the Public checkbox. This will make the form private, but because the form is also pinned to the Home page, the form will remain accessible from the Home page.

  5. Save your changes.

Happy planning!
