Event Manager: Allow Attendees to Add Activities to the "My Schedule" page

Learn how to allow attendees to build a personalized itinerary using the “My Schedule” feature

Overview

Attendees can now build a personalized itinerary—“My Schedule”—by favoriting Schedule Line Items (activities) directly from any Event Portal Web App schedule details page.

Enabling “Add to Itinerary”

  1. In the Event Manager App > Event Setup section > Schedules tab, edit a Schedule.

  2. Turn on Allow Add to Itinerary for each Schedule Line Item where you want attendees to be able to favorite activities.

  3. (Optional) Specify a Capacity to limit how many attendees can add that activity.

How It Works in the Event Portal Web App

Event Portal Web App > Schedules > Schedule Details page:

  • A heart-shaped Add to schedule toggle appears beside each enabled activity.

  • If unlimited capacity, the heart is always enabled.

  • If a capacity is set:

    • When spots remain, the heart is enabled (untoggled until favorited).

    • If the favorite count meets capacity, the button is disabled and labeled Full.

  • Tapping the heart will add or remove the activity from “My Schedule.”

💡TIP: Favorited activities sync instantly.

Viewing Your Itinerary

Attendees can access their full list of favorited activities by clicking My Schedule in the top navigation of the Event Portal.

📝NOTE: Capacity counts allow attendees to see accurate availability.

For Event Managers

  • In Event Manager App > Schedules tab, you’ll see real-time favorite counts per activity as well as a list of all the attendees who favorited each line item.

  • Review capacity usage to manage oversubscribed sessions.
