Learn how to edit a received attendee registration.

You can edit any of the attendee registrations you have collected for your event. To edit an attendee's registration, follow these steps:

Edit an attendee registration

  1. Go to the Event Manager App > Registration section > Registrants tab.

  2. Use the Search box or filter dropdown lists to locate the registrant whose registration details you want to edit and then select the registrant and click the Edit (pencil) button.

  3. The registrant details page will be displayed, which will allow you to edit various details of the registration.

The Overview tab to displays a summary of key details related to the registration. From this tab, you can:

  • To resend an approved registration confirmation email, click the Resend Email link.

  • To flag the registration as a duplicate registration, check the Duplicate Registration checkbox.

  • Add private notes to the Registration Notes field to share private details about the registrant with your team.

The Registration tab, displays the registrant's submitted answers. To edit any of a registrants submitted answers:

  1. Select the registrant's answer that you wish to edit.

  2. Make any changes to the answer text, or answer selections.

  3. Click the Save button

The Products tab, displays any products (or add-ons) that the registrant has added to their registration. For products to be listed here, the registration form must have had Products linked to the form at the time the registration was received, and the registrant must have chosen to add one or more products to their registration. You can Add, Edit or Remove products for any registrant from this tab. To learn more about adding products to a registration form, click here.

Product Editing Restrictions

The following restrictions apply to editing product selections for a registration and depend on the registration status:

Pending

None. You can add, edit, or delete and free or paid product before you approve the registration.

Approved, Declined, or Canceled

You can only add, edit, or remove free products.

Adding or editing paid products is not allowed. To remove a product from a registration, use the Refund feature.

Add a Products to a Registration

  1. Click the +Add Product button to open the Add Product dialog window.

  2. If products have been linked to the related registration form, the Products dropdown will display a list of products that can be added. Only products that have not been added to the registration can be added. If the registration is no longer in a Pending status, you will only be able to add free products to the registrations.

  3. Choose the desired Quantity.

  4. Click OK to add the product to the registration.

  5. Click the Save button to save your changes.

Edit a Product on a Registration

  1. Select the Product from the list of products added to the registration and click the Edit (pencil) button.

  2. In the Edit Product dialog window, change the Quantity as needed. Please note that the selected Product cannot be changed. To change the selected product, you must remove and re-add a different product.

  3. Click OK to apply the changes to the product to the registration.

  4. Click the Save button to save your changes.

Delete a Product from a Registration

  1. Select the Product from the list of products added to the registration and click the Delete (trash can) button.

  2. Confirm your intention to delete the product.

  3. Click OK to apply the changes to the product to the registration.

  4. Click the Save button to save your changes.

NOTE: To remove a Product for which a payment has been received, you must issue a registration refund for the product instead of deleting the Product from the registration. This allows the refund to be tracked.
