If you have connected a Stripe account and have processed online payments, you can export raw payment transactions directly from your Stripe Dashboard. We recommend using the raw transaction data exported from Stripe when reconciling your event finances.

Transactions In Your Stripe Account

ClearEvent recommends that you create a new Stripe Account for each event that you create in the ClearEvent platform and that you do not connect any other applications to these accounts once they are connected to your event in ClearEvent. The advantage of this approach is that it keeps each events payment transactions separate, simplifying reconciliation efforts.

If you did not do create a new Stripe Account for each event, or have other third-party applications connected to your event's Stripe Account, it's possible that your Stripe Account with contain payment transactions from other events and/or other connected applications.

Your Stripe account may also contain other types of transactions that are not available for export from ClearEvent directly (e.g. Chargebacks, manual transfers, manual charges, etc.).

How to Export Data From Stripe

To learn more about exporting data from Stripe, please read the following Stripe documentation.

Exporting Test Data

If you have yet to process live payments, but would still like to test the Stripe export features, be sure to enable the "View Test Data" switch in your Stripe Dashboard. In ClearEvent, also ensure your Payment Gateway to "Test Mode" and then register using a paid registration form or purchase a paid ticket. You can then export these test transactions from Stripe.
