ClearEvent partners with Stripe as our online payment processor. To collect online payments from your event attendees you'll need to connect a Stripe account (free to create). Stripe charges fees (like all other payment processors) to process online payments. Fees can vary by region.

North America

Regular Stripe Processing Fees

Stripe's regular processing fees are 2.9% + $0.30 for any customer in North America.

Non-Profit Stripe Processing Fees

For events based in the U.S. only, Stripe offers a discount pricing structure for Non-Profit organizations.

To be eligible for this program your Non-Profit must have a 501(c)3 status and must contact Stripe directly at sales+nonprofit@stripe.com to apply for this discount. 

To apply for this discounted pricing, you'll need to supply Stripe with the following info:

  1. The email address associated with your new Stripe account.
  2. A letter stating your 501c3 status (can also be a letter from the IRS).
  3. EIN (Employer Identification Number).
