Learn how to export ClearEvent payment transactions for registrations and ticket sales directly from Stripe

Updated over a week ago

If you have connected your event to a Stripe account and have processed online payments, you can export raw payment transactions directly from your Stripe Dashboard.

NOTE: We recommend using the raw transaction data exported from Stripe when reconciling your event finances.

Transactions In Your Stripe Account

ClearEvent recommends that you create a new Stripe Account for each event that you create in the ClearEvent platform and that you do not connect any other applications to these accounts once they are connected to your event in ClearEvent. The advantage of this approach is that it keeps each event's payment transactions separate, simplifying reconciliation efforts.

If you did not do create a new Stripe Account for each event or have other third-party applications connected to your event's Stripe Account, it's possible that your Stripe Account with contain payment transactions from other events and/or other connected applications.

Your Stripe account may also contain other types of transactions that are not available for export from ClearEvent directly (e.g. Chargebacks, manual transfers, manual charges, etc.).

Stripe makes it easy to export the following types of information:
