Pass Service Charge to Buyer

When the Service Setting is set to Pass Service Charge to Buyer, then all Online Fees defined on this registration form will show the "Est. Service Charge" and reflect that is is being paid by the Buyer, and what the Est. Buyer Total is.

When a Buyer completes a Registration Form, the ClearEvent Service Charge will be included as an additional line during the check-out process, and added to the total amount that the Buyer will be required to pay to complete their registration..

..and reflected in the same way on the email receipt which sent to the buyer.

Absorb Service Charge into Price

When the Service Setting is set to Absorb Service Charge into Price , the ClearEvent Service Charge will NOT be shown to the Buyer.  All Online Fees defined on this registration form will show the "Est. Service Charge" for your reference, but the Buyer Total does not change.

When a Buyer completes a Registration Form, the ClearEvent Service Charge will NOT be shown to the Buyer..

..and not shown on the email receipt which sent to the buyer.

The Stripe Processing Charge is always deducted from the amount received by the event and is never shown during the check-out process or any email receipt.  To understand why this is the case, you can learn more about Stripe charges here
